In backgammon you race your 15 checkers around the board into your home board and then bear them all off before your opponent does.
Each turn you roll two dice and play each number separately; doubles are played four times. If both dice can be played you must play both, and if only one fits you must play the larger. You cannot land on a point held by two or more enemy checkers, but landing on a lone checker hits it and sends it to the bar, from where it must re-enter first. Win before your opponent has borne off a single checker and it is a gammon (mars) that counts double. Play the computer on Easy or Normal or a friend on the same screen, with pip counts, the last move marked and undo until you confirm the turn.

Step 3: Undo takes back the last step; press Confirm when every die is played, or Pass when no move is possible.
