In Sea Battle you secretly place your five ships on a 10×10 sea and then trade shots with the computer, trying to sink its fleet before it sinks yours.
The fleet is a flagship (5 squares), frigate (4), corvette (3), gunboat (3) and patrol boat (2). Drag ships from the harbour, tap to rotate them, or place them all at random; by default ships may not touch, not even diagonally. In battle fire at a square in enemy waters: a splash is a miss, an explosion a hit, and a ship sinks when every square is hit. Hunting around your hits to find a ship's direction is the key. The computer fires at random on Easy, follows its hits on Normal and weighs every possible ship position on Hard. An optional salvo rule gives one shot per surviving ship each turn.
